The South Corvallis Food bank will be hosting a food drive for the Corvallis community on June 16th from 1-4pm at the Grace Lutheran Church.
The food bank is in need of instant side dishes (Rice-a-roni, Tuna Helper, stuffing, etc.), oatmeal, condiments, canned food, vegetable oil, cereal, gluten-free items, unused toiletries, sealed beverages.
The food bank’s mission as listed on their website is to increase sustainable food security in South Corvallis by providing emergency food and supplies with compassion and respect.
The food bank is available for use by anyone in Corvallis that meets the low income guidelines that can be found on their website.
People are welcome to come and get what they need from the food bank every 14 days and have a personalized shopper help with their experience.
Make sure to bring any donations on June 16th to Grace Lutheran Church located at 435 Nw 21st Street Corvallis, OR 97330 from one to four p.m. to support the Corvallis Community.
The Food bank is unable to accept: bulk or home-canned items, items without labels, windfall fruit, and home-grown eggs.
