The annual Beaver Community Fair will take place on September 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Memorial Quad and Student Experience Plaza.
Supported by the Oregon State University Program Council (OSUPC), the fair brings together a variety of student clubs and local vendors to introduce students to campus organizations and community businesses.
According to OSUPC leads Mathew Zeamer and Andrea Valle, club booths will be organized by theme — including sections for engineering, arts, and social-based clubs.
In addition to student organizations, vendors from Corvallis will be present to help students learn more about the surrounding community.
Zeamer and Valle expressed their hopes that the fair will encourage students to engage with campus life. “I was a transfer student, and it was a good way for me to be more open,” Valle shared.
To boost engagement, attendees will receive a bingo card designed to promote interaction with various booths. Although the bingo activity is a returning feature, the card has been updated for this year’s fair.
Participants who achieve a “blackout” on their card can enter a raffle, with prizes composed of items donated by attending vendors — offering local businesses an opportunity to promote themselves to students.
OSUPC encourages students to come with curiosity and enthusiasm. “Talk to anyone — you’d be surprised by the clubs,” Zeamer said.
