‘No Kings’ Protest, happening in Corvallis on October 18

The well-known “No Kings” protest is set to take place in Corvallis on Saturday, October 18.

This protest is scheduled for the Benton County Circuit Court, located at 120 NW Fourth St., from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This event is set to start at the Benton County Circuit Court, then march down Monroe Ave. 

The “No Kings” protest has been happening across the United States, aiming to amplify their voices. This event is to bring focus to President Donald Trump’s absolute rule. “‘NO KINGS’ is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon.” 

This protest welcomes anyone wanting to participate. The organizers of this rally make it clear that this will be a nonviolent protest: “We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.” For more information about signing up for this event, you can visit the official event page.
