3 Drinks to Keep You Feeling Refreshed This Spring
April 27, 2017
Trying to break away from soda and other unhealthy drinks? Tired of water? Try out one of these three refreshing spring beverages!
Refreshing Infused Water
Add 3 or 4 slices of grapefruit and a few sprigs of rosemary to a healthy cup of water then let it stand for at least 20 minutes so the flavors have time to infuse. If you’re looking to achieve peak infusion, try letting your water sit in the fridge overnight!
Mint Lemonade
Mix 5 cups of water, 1 ½ cups of fresh lemon juice and ½ cup of sugar together then add a few sprigs of mint for this sweet spin on everyone’s favorite summer drink. This lemonade is perfect for sipping while lounging around in your backyard when it’s just too warm to be in inside.
Grapefruit Spritzer
Mix juice from one half of a grapefruit with sparkling water to taste and several slices of cucumber for a tart, bubbly summer beverage. If you want a stronger cucumber flavor let the cucumbers soak in the grapefruit before adding the sparkling water.
