Oregon State University graduating seniors can follow the below directions to prepare for graduation.

Upcoming important dates: 

— May 13: deadline for master’s and doctoral candidates to RSVP for Commencement.

— June 1: deadline for undergraduate students to RSVP for Commencement.

— June 14: university-wide Commencement Ceremony at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon.

— June 15: OSU-Cascades Commencement Ceremony in Bend, Oregon. 

Graduation and Commencement checklist: 

For master’s and doctoral candidates: 

By May 13, you should RSVP for Commencement, submit major professor(s) names and record your name for pronunciation.

Wondering how to RSVP? Log in to Beaver Hub with your student account and search for “Graduate Students-Commencement Attendance Confirmation” to confirm your attendance for the event. 

To submit your major professor(s) name, it is recommended by the OSU website to email who will be serving as your escort to the Graduate School at (WRITE THE EMAIL) 

Make sure to use the NameCoach platform to record your name as indicated on your diploma application. 

By June 2, you should submit accommodation requests. 

To submit accommodation requests, complete the Student Accommodation Survey. 

By June 6, you should complete all your degree requirements.

Ensure that all the degree requirements are met by logging in to MyDegrees with your OSU student username and idea. These requirements include all final exams, your thesis/dissertation, as well as having clearance of any incomplete grades that may show up.

For undergraduate students: 

By June 1, you should RSVP for Commencement.

To RSVP for Commencement, confirm your attendance by logging into Beaver Hub with your OSU student username and password. Search for “Undergraduate Students-Commencement Attendance Confirmation.” 

By June 2, you should submit accommodation requests. 

To submit an accommodation request, complete the Student Accommodation Survey. 

Commencement Day overview: 

According to the OSU website, the times are as follows:

— Gates open at 9 a.m. 

— Processional begins at 10 a.m. 

— Ceremony starts at 11 a.m.

— Located at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon or 660 SW 26th St., Corvallis, OR 97331
