Dairy-free peppermint white hot chocolate recipe


The cold weather hits and the holidays are here, the time when you are most susceptible to giving into your sweet tooth. This dairy-free peppermint white hot chocolate is the perfect drink when you want something to warm you up on those cold winter nights.


  • 4 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 peppermint candy cane
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extract


  • Dairy-free whipped cream for garnish

  • Extra candy cane, crushed, for garnish


  1. Heat coconut milk and candy cane over low/medium heat until candy cane is completely melted.

  2. Slowly add the white chocolate chips until they are completely melted and mixed with the coconut milk.

  3. Remove from heat.

  4. Mix in the peppermint extract.

  5. Top with the dairy-free whipped cream and candy cane pieces

If you really want to add to the festivity add a dash of red or green food coloring to the hot chocolate for some fun flair!
