If you are planning on staying on the Oregon State University campus over the summer, you might be wondering about summer housing and possible changes in campus resources. Well, look no further, because Beaver’s Digest has done some digging!

Housing

The application for summer 2023 housing has been open since April 25, and there is no due date for it. The move-in date for current students will be June 17, 2023. The move-in date for new students is June 25, 2023. Summer housing is available until Sept. 8, 2023.

If you currently reside on campus, you may be able to move into your summer residence hall directly from your current room; however, additional costs may apply.

Students will reside in Halsell or the International Living Learning Center over the summer and have access to Arnold Dining Center and Cascadia Market. Room rates for housing over the summer vary depending on how many weeks a student is staying on campus and whether they select a triple, double or single room.

Dining Halls

Arnold Dining Center will remain open until 7 p.m. every day. The remaining dining centers will have adjusted hours.

The Valley Library

The library will host a variety of events over the summer that will be announced on their website and/or social media pages, so be sure to keep an eye out for those.

Other campus resources:

  • Dixon is open from 6 a.m.–8 p.m. during the weekdays, Saturday from 9 a.m.4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.4 p.m.
  • McAlexander Fieldhouse will be closed during the summer.
