The Pacific Islanders Association will be holding its annual Pasifika Fest from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday May 9 in the Student Experience Center Plaza and lobby.
Students are invited to learn about cultural practices through dances that will be performed by student groups from OSU as well as Pacific University and South Salem High school, regional favorite food, and music.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about resources on campus available to Pacific Islander students through various tabling set up as well as learn more about the community in general through art exhibits. The entire event is focused on collaboration and community building.
The event is free and open to everyone.
